Based on: Actually, she's not based on a pony from any MLP series. She's actually based on a character of the same name from a TV show that was based on another Hasbro toyline called "MoonDreamers".

Original depiction: Andromeda is a playful Star Horse who apparently cannot sit still. She has a white coat with three yellow spots, a light blue mane, and gold hooves.

TC's depiction: Another friend of Clue's. She's often too busy working at the observatory to actually hang out, but she does welcome friends when they visit. She may be cooped up for the most part, but that doesn't mean she never leaves the observatory. I also consider those three spots her birth marks.

Talk about diversity! I was just video surfing until I found a particular character that caught my interest. And of all the things I had to find it, it had to be a kid show. B( Oh, well. At least it works.

Technically, Moondreamers is made by Hasbro. So, it counts, just as long it has something that's equine related

At first, I didn't want her to have a Mohawk, but Trot found a way to implement it better. So now, I actually like it! Amazing what an artist can do!

Originally, she was supposed to have the north star for a cutie mark, but the coat made it hard to see, so Trot decided to give her a big star instead.

UPDATE: Decided to use one picture for her. It seemed inadequate and unfair that she gets four pictures while the other ponies get one.

UPDATE II: I decided to drop the glasses because wearing them while not on the job makes her look older. And no, I did not edit the pic, I had four different pictures of her.
